Building the operating system for Nepal's schools
GyanMul exists because running a school shouldn't mean fighting your own paperwork. We build one connected, AI-powered platform so administrators, teachers, students, and parents can focus on what school is actually for.
Our vision
A future where every school in Nepal — private, public, urban, or rural — runs on modern, connected, AI-assisted infrastructure, not disconnected paperwork.
Our mission
Transform education through intelligent, connected, and modern school management — built with the schools that use it, not just for them.
How we build
Every feature starts from a real workflow at a real school. We'd rather ship one thing that fits how a school actually runs than ten that look good in a demo.
Our story
A spreadsheet that couldn't keep up
GyanMul started from a simple, familiar frustration: a school's attendance, fees, and results living in disconnected spreadsheets and registers, none of which agreed with each other by the end of term.
Building with one real school, not for an imagined one
The first version of GyanMul was built alongside a single pilot school in Kathmandu — every feature shaped by what their administrators, teachers, and parents actually needed, not a generic feature checklist.
From web platform to connected mobile experience
GyanMul's native Android and iOS apps launched, bringing attendance, homework, fees, and messaging to every role's pocket — and Gurubaa arrived across the platform to lighten the manual workload behind lesson planning and grading.
Built for schools of every kind
GyanMul now serves private schools, and is expanding to support government schools, colleges, higher secondary institutions, and multi-campus educational groups across Nepal.
What's next
A look at where GyanMul is headed — not a fixed promise, but the direction we're building toward.
WhatsApp integration
Bringing notifications and two-way communication to the messaging app most Nepali families already use every day.
Deeper AI performance insight
Expanding AI-flagged academic trends into early, actionable interventions administrators and teachers can act on together.
Offline-first mobile experience
Making core mobile workflows — attendance, homework — resilient to the patchy connectivity many schools outside major cities still face.
Government & municipal partnerships
Deeper procurement, compliance, and training support as more public-school programs adopt GyanMul at scale.
