A school trusts GyanMul with children's records, results and money. Here is, plainly, how that data is protected.
Each school's data, kept apart
Every school's data is isolated at the database level, with row-level security on every table. Staff see only what their role allows.
Two-factor sign-in
Admins, finance staff and the GyanMul team sign in with a second factor. Sessions expire, and sensitive actions are checked again on the server.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Everything travels over HTTPS (TLS), and our cloud database provider encrypts the data at rest.
Encrypted backups and exports
Backups and school data exports are encrypted. Downloading a full academic year needs two-factor sign-in and a second person's approval.
Two people for what matters
Money above a school's thresholds and corrections to published results each need a second person's approval. Published results are locked.
An append-only audit trail
Who did what, and when, is recorded for every change and cannot be edited afterwards.
Files on short-lived links
Files are served through signed links that expire. Learning PDFs carry the viewer's name as a watermark.
Protected content stays in the app
The GyanMul apps block screenshots and screen recording of protected learning content.
Payments through licensed providers
Payments go through licensed payment providers. GyanMul never stores card numbers.
Your data, your choice
You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time. GyanMul Prep follows our children's privacy rules for learners under 18. The details are in our policies.
