Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 3, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses GyanMul — school administrators, teachers, students, parents, and guardians. It exists to keep the platform safe, reliable, and trustworthy for the schools and families who depend on it.
1. You may not
- Access, or attempt to access, data or accounts you are not authorized to view, including by circumventing role-based permissions or row-level security controls
- Share your account credentials with anyone else, or use another person's account without authorization
- Upload or transmit content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes another person's rights
- Use the platform to bully, harass, or discriminate against any student, staff member, or parent
- Upload malware, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt or damage the Service
- Scrape, data-mine, or systematically extract data from the platform outside of the export tools we provide
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the platform, except where applicable law permits it
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including through excessive automated requests
- Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam) to students, parents, or staff
- Misrepresent your identity or role when using the platform
2. Content responsibility
Schools and their staff are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the content they enter into GyanMul, including academic records, announcements, and messages. GyanMul reserves the right, but has no obligation, to remove content that clearly violates this policy.
3. Reporting violations
If you become aware of a violation of this policy — including a security concern or suspected unauthorized access — report it immediately to info@gyanmul.com. We take security and safety reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
4. Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in a warning, suspension, or termination of an individual account or a school's subscription, depending on severity, at our reasonable discretion. Where required by law, we may also report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
